Upcoming Events

I was recently contacted by the person in charge of national advertising/media and business development for THE SPORTSMAN CHANNEL. After several discussions and a pheasant hunt held at Cedar Hill Game Farm on a friday afternoon, we agreed to film a hunt at our farm in the near future. We hope to get the filming done in March of 2010. It will run sometime in the future. As soon as we get an airing date and time we will post it on our website.  The Sportsman Channel is viewed from coast to coast and is watched by nearly 20 million viewers. We also, with the Sportsman's Channel's permission, auctioned off the right to hunt that day with members of the Sportsman's Channel staff.  The auction was held at a fundraising banquet held at Bayside Supper Club in Beaver Dam for the Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association. (bdlia.org) John Biel of John's Bar in Beaver Dam bought the hunt. He will be the guest of  the Sportsman's Channel. Congratulations to John and a big thank you to Lee Chiroff of The Sportsman's Channel for helping put this hunt together. I have been a board member of the bdlia since 1996 and past president for five of those years. We were very excited and appreciative of this special opportunity to do something great for the lake, and at the same time also help me get my pheasant farm off to a very exciting start. Thanks again to the Sportsman's Channel staff.
